James Kimmel DVM
He has been a veterinarian here at Academy West for 1 year.
He is a Graduate of the University of Illinois and has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for 4 years.
He practices on small animals and is looking to further his knowledge of exotics. He has three cats at home.
Manager ~ Bonnie
She is a wonderful person. She loves helping in any way she can and takes the time to listen to your needs. She has five dogs at home.
Assistant Manager ~ Kelly
Kelly has worked at Academy West for 3 years and knows many of the clients and their pets personally.
She loves her job and is often upfront helping out clients. She has two cats and a mouse at home. Arwen is on the left and Zombie is on the right.
Technician ~ Lilie
She has been working with animals all her life, her family had kennels and raised dogs, but has been in the veterinary field for over 12 years.
She has several pets herself, including a menagerie of pomeranians and persians.
She loves her job being able to help the animals who rely on us for their care.
Technician ~ Freddy
He has worked with animals for 10 years and has been a technician for 6 years.
He loves helping pets and their owners keeping them healthy and happy.
Freddy loves exotics and especially large birds & owns several himself. This is his pomeranian, Cookie.
Receptionist ~ Kelly
She has had many animals and enjoys caring for all of them. She currently has one mouse to care for, but is experienced in owning all kinds of pets like bunnies and chickens.
Vet Assistant ~ Megan
She is always ready to help you with your needs. She has been working in the veterinary field for 2 years and enjoys making friends with the new pets and clients.
She is a great help to the hospital up front with the receptionist and in back with the technicians. She has three dogs at home.
Kennel ~ Cindy
Cindy is one of our kennel staff. She helps keep your pets clean and comfortable while they are staying here.
She walks each pet several times daily and spends time playing with them.
She loves all the pets and enjoys seeing them come and visit. She does a wonderful job of keeping them happy. She has 2 hampsters and a few birds at home.
